Ian Shepard is a junior at Ball State majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Spanish. He is a three-year member and an instructor in the Swing Dance Club at Ball State. He has been swinging for four years and competed in a variety of other ballroom dances across the state. He aspires to join Naptown Stomp, a well-known Lindy Hop group based in Indianapolis.

Calandra Weaver took jazz lessons for 10 years, so now she continues to enjoy dancing at the Swing Dance Society at Ball State. This is her third year in the club. Last year, she held the position of secretary, and this year she has taken on more responsibility to become vice president, treasurer, and instructor. She loves loves how quirky and relaxed swing dancing is and how it gets her out of her comfort zone.
